3 "Firsts"

We have had a few "Firsts" lately.  Meg had her first day of Kindergarten two weeks ago, Sarah Jane had her first birthday Saturday and Jack has his first day of preschool today.  We are definitely in a new stage of life with car lines, sack lunches and homework.  Yes, homework in Kindergarten!  Not too much, but nonetheless Bo or I have to sign Meg's homework sheet everynight!
Beginning with Meg:  She absolutely loves Kindergarten and her new teacher Mrs. Simmons.  She has met several new friends and already has a friend from church in her class, Blanton.  It has been comforting to have Blanton there with her.  A familiar face is nice.  I love that we don't have to worry about what to wear each day.  Yea for uniforms!  It is going to be fun to watch her blossom this year.

Next Sarah Jane:  Our "little bit", as Bo likes to call her, is already a year old and I have a feeling each year will go by faster and faster.  We have enjoyed her tremendously and she brings so much joy to our home.  Meg and Jack are surprisingly patient with her and still want to hold her and kiss her all the time.  I think she knows that she is loved.

Last by not least, Jack:  Our "little man"  is a busy boy and having a fun place for him 3 days a week gives him something to look forward too and gives mommy a chance to regroup and get some things done around the house while Sarah Jane naps.  So today he starts preschool (K-4) with Ms. Donna as his teacher.  She taught Meg last year and we are thrilled to have her again.  He knows all of the boys in his class, so he is very excited about a new year at school.
