Catching up!

Spring has been busy and unusually cool for us here in south Alabama.  We have enjoyed it, however, we are in a drought which has left our yard looking dead.
Our garden is doing well in spite of the lack of rain.  Bo is so faithful to weed it and water it.  Notice I said Bo...My job is to deal with the veggies as they come into the house!  We have already enjoyed fresh green beans, onions and lettuce.  Our corn will be ready next and the tomatoes and peppers are looking good.  The kids love to run up and down the rows of corn.  They like to jump in and "help" Bo.
In addition to the garden we have been blessed with tons of blackberries that grow along our fence and in the cow pasture behind us.  It was like going on a treasure hunt for the kids except for the thorns all over the plants.  They were troopers and picked and ate many berries!
School is finally over and we can relax every morning.  I can have another cup of coffee too.  Meg will be graduating from Kindergarten tonight.  It's hard to believe it's over.  We are so proud of her and she is such a special joy in our family.  I'll post some pictures as soon as I can.
The following are some pictures from last couple of months.

These sweet girls are getting ready to hunt Easter eggs at our church.

Jack and his buddy Peyton checking out the candy in their Easter eggs.

Meg lost her first tooth at the Easter egg hunt!  She was eating candy and out it popped!

An attempt at an Easter picture!

Blackberries!

Daddy and Sarah Jane picking blackberries.  Daddy is so patient.

Okay...Maybe Sarah Jane wasn't picking berries!  She was eating them!

Jack singing in his end of the year program.  The little girl standing next to him would not smile.

Extreme kite flying!  Jack accidentally let go of the string and it got caught in a Pecan tree!

Our corn.

Jack's class had a water party.

Water guns!

Sarah Jane is watching all the action.

Meg and some friends from school.

Our sweet girls!
